My name is Sunday.  I just completed writing 9^th grade exams and if I pass will enter the 10^th grade in February 2021.  My favorite subjects are Mathematics and Religious Education.  I like to read and have interest in building.  My father remarried and abandoned us.  As the oldest child I took the responsibility to pay for my education so that my mother wouldn’t face the burden alone.  In my free time I look for odd jobs like laying bricks, sweeping someone’s yard to raise money we need but small jobs are difficult to find.  Working is helpful but gives me little time to study.  Sunday’s mother works as a maid yet her pay only covers the family’s basic needs. “If I had some support for school, I would have time to study, pass my exams and complete my high school education. I would like to be an electrician and further help my family.”
