Samson’s grandfather has been burdened by his children to take care of 7 grandchildren. Samuel’s parents do not earn enough from their piece work (odd jobs of weeding farm lands or loading trucks with sand or helping thatch roofs) to care for Samson so, for safety and to have food each day he lives with his 79 year old grandfather and six other brothers and cousins in grandfathers home.
