My name Violet and I am 8 years old. I live in Lukata Village with my grandma who is a peasant farmer, she only grows enough to last us a few months due to inadequate inputs. I do not live with my parents because they are divorced and mother cannot afford to take care of me. I am the only girl in a family of three and none of my siblings go to school due to lack of support. This year I am attending my 2nd grade in Primary School. I really enjoy going to school because I want to learn how to read one day.
