Hi, my name is Cosmas. I like to be creative, play football, read, and study hard, so I can help my mother.  When I grow up, I want to be a teacher.

Cosmas likes reading and enjoys calculating figures. He spends his free time teaching his older brother to read because his brother has fallen behind in school. His father left the family when Cosmas was in the first grade, and they have not heard from him since. His mother works during the rainy seasons on farms to earn an income to provide for the family. Cosmas’ older sister works in a factory and sends money when his mother is unable to get work to provide for her children.
