Hi! My name is Patience; I love being in school.  I like math, English and writing. My outdoor activities are playing catch with my friends. When I was born my father refused to take responsibility of me so I have never had a relationship with him.  I want to be a nurse when I complete my high school education; I like the pretty white uniforms they wear. Patience is in the 5^th grade and has to be separated from her mother so she could be in a nearby school. Her mother is a peasant farmer who barely meets her basic needs, she has debt with the school. Patience is currently in and out of school and because she doesn’t have school shoes, she goes to school in slippers.
