Teddy lost his father a couple of days after Christmas in 2022. His widowed mother was left with the sole responsibility of taking care of their four children and two other dependents on an income selling “chitenges” (African wrappers). There has been no support from close family and friends. The family depends on the few crops they grow from their small garden for their meals.
