Thomas was born deaf and speech impaired into a vulnerable family where his mother struggles to make ends meet and provide for her family. Well wishers have built a home for them but they have no support for their basic needs. Thomas’ mother cuts long dry grass to sell or make fences for a living, sometimes she sells vegetables that she buys from her dry grass fences to earn a living and bring food to the table. A school for special need will have to be sought for Thomas as children with special needs do not go to regular schools in Zambia.
